Senior Sales Specialist, CloudHealth by VMware

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing specialist sales team at CloudHealth by VMware in Australia. We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Senior Sales Specialist with prior experience in Cloud Management SaaS and/or Cloud Services solution selling in Victoria. This role will be responsible for acquiring new Enterprise customers, growing existing customer adoption and executing solution-oriented sales plays within the Enterprise customer segment.

About You

This role is well suited for quota-carrying individuals with a demonstrable track-record in solution selling Cloud Management software and/or SaaS, with previous experience working for AWS/Microsoft/Google and/or Enterprise SaaS companies in an Account Executive/Product Specialist role .  Must be proficient in understanding and translating technology solutions into business outcomes, with familiarity of cloud management use-cases, concepts, etc.

Responsibilities

The Senior Sales Specialist for CloudHealth by VMware will be responsible for communicating and positioning the value of CloudHealth management solutions, acquiring new Enterprise customers, and owning/driving the opportunity lifecycle from concept-to-closure by leveraging VMware teams including cloud solution architects, Core sales and customer experience teams. Specifically, responsibilities include:

·         Managing a territory with named accounts with the goal of acquiring, scaling, and maintaining Enterprise customers

·         Sell directly to Enterprise customers or by leveraging MSPs and alliances (AWS/Azure)

·         Prepare and deliver sales/solution enablement to internal and external participants

·         Manage and grow end to end relationships with customers

·         Leverage solution selling techniques to uncover customer challenges, and deliver value to our customers' line of business

·         Co-Sell with VMware sellers from Core as well as other specialist sales teams

·         Drive an efficient sales cycle from appointment to close

·         Build and establish long-term relationships with customer lines of business

·         Build and manage a growing pipeline

Skills and Experience

·         Undergraduate qualification in Commerce/ICT/Info Mgmt or equivalent

·         Cloud Management software, SaaS or Public cloud sales background

·         10+ years in an IT sales and/or business development role

·         Recent experience as an Enterprise Account Executive or Product Specialist (min. 2 years)

·         Demonstrated ability in achieving and exceeding quota in Enterprise segment

·         Proven communication and negotiation skills

·         Demonstrable solution selling capabilities and techniques including solution presentations, building proposals and business cases

·         Adept in Salesforce and other sales tools like LinkedIn

Travel: 25% of the time
