As we continue our growth trajectory, the Senior Manager, Portfolio Pricing Strategy will play a critical role in our monetization strategy.  In this role, you will help craft new business models, optimize packaging and pricing for existing offers, define monetization strategies for new offerings, and develop global processes to ensure successful pricing and product go-to-market execution.  Your efforts will drive executive-level decisions that are core to our long-term success.

Cross functional collaboration at multiple levels across product, operations, finance, sales and marketing is expected in order to develop comprehensive pricing recommendations that are presented to senior-level executives. You will fully immerse in our business, draw insights from data analysis and research, and develop compelling and comprehensive pricing strategy recommendations.

Help set vision, prioritization, and roadmap for global pricing initiatives, including pricing models and process improvements

Use a hypothesis driven approach to develop business cases that align pricing and packaging with customer value and drive growth

Develop and collaborate on plans to optimize our pricing for existing offerings as well as to expand our portfolio as part of pricing improvement initiatives

Partner with product management to drive technical changes in support of pricing strategies

Support finance in modeling projected gross margin

Consult with deal desk analysts to project impact of deals to overall margin profile

Develop and gather market and industry information to identify trends and changes that can be integrated into the product planning and business strategy activities

Manage analytical resources to aid reporting and decisions related to pricing strategy

What You'll Bring

Your corporate strategy and enterprise software pricing experience has honed in your abilities to drive data centric business decisions and lead and influence cross-functionally. You understand how to embrace and balance longer-term strategic corporate initiatives with daily operational rigor and immediate market pressures.

BA/BS and 8+ years’ experience at a strategy consulting company and/or technology environment, preferably in B2B Enterprise Software / SaaS / Software

Pricing strategy experience to include monetization strategy and pricing/packaging optimization

Demonstrated track-record of successfully leading or co-leading ambitious strategic and operationally complex projects with cross-functional teams

Big-picture strategic thinker and collaborative team facilitator with highly structured approach to problem-solving: advanced proficiency with analyzing data and building business cases to help the organization make hypothesis and data-driven decisions despite uncertainty and ambiguity

Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to drive and influence key decisions/stakeholders and the confidence to share (and defend) ideas in front of business and product leaders

Hands on to operate at both a strategic and tactical level
