The Data Analyst works on advanced development projects in the area of big data analytics and data science. Analyzes the available data sets and turns data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.


  • Delivers BI solutions driving business decisions in response to business questions
  • Develops expertise on business processes, life-cycles, and data drivers to recommend BI solutions and drive requirement discussions
  • Delivers ad hoc business data analyses and dashboards in Tableau/ Mode Analytics
  • Drives projects with cross-functional teams to solve ongoing issues and to support creation of new data attributes supporting BI report creation
  • Interprets data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
  • Supports and participates in discussions to improve processes, analyses and reporting
  • Works with business stakeholders and engineers to ensure data is consistent across various systems
  • Supports the delivery and continuous improvement of existing BI solutions
  • Supports communication, training, and documentation to enable successful user adoption and extended team member readiness
  • Proactively investigates, reports and – where possible - addresses data quality issues and suggests improvements
  • Performs QA activities to validate requirements are being met through front end solutions, data model verification, and source to target mapping.


Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Engineering or relevant field;
  • Typically 3-5 years of related industry experience in data analytics, reporting or BI

Special knowledge and skills:

  • Experience providing internal customers solutions that produce results
  • Business Acumen, ability to translate business needs into a set of workable, specific requirements
  • Systems orientated with strong analytical understanding and database skills for data retrieval, manipulation and data architecture
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Working knowledge of Tableau/Mode/QlikView
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strength in researching, understanding, and succinctly explaining complex transactions and business impact
  • Must have combination of good communication skills (including presentation skills) and technical skills
  • Knowledge of Python and Java is preferred
