Senior Analyst, Revenue Global Process Owner

This position is based in Palo Alto, California, and reports to the Director, Revenue Global Process Owner in Palo Alto, CA.  As the Senior Analyst, the qualified candidate will have the following competencies:

Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Knowledge in ASC 606, Revenue with Contracts with Customers and the Order to Cash process
  • Demonstrate issue identification and resolution skills and partner with other cross-functional teams and effectively communicate well-developed, scalable solutions

Process Transformation:

  • Partner with stakeholders for global projects and provide overall requirements, capture process objectives, validate design decisions, and processes/workflow requirements
  • Develop end-to-end process improvement and implement best known practices through partnership with key stakeholders and IT
  • Drive and support implementation of production related system fixes
  • Develop ad-hoc reporting and analysis for management and stakeholders
  • Participate in the design and documentation of applicable training materials or user guides for processes that will be leveraged by Revenue Teams

Business Partnership:

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to operate in an environment of changing demands and priorities
  • Participate as a stakeholder in the finance policy development process
  • Collaborate with Revenue and SOX PMO Team to ensure that SOX impacted processes and improvements are properly documented, support self-testing of key areas of Revenue

Skills

  • 4-5 year’s experience in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Big 4 auditing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio
  • Excellent organizational skills to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Must be comfortable engaging with business stakeholders globally and with internal IT partners, as well as with vendors and external project teams
  • Must have a positive, energetic attitude and a strong desire to provide excellence in stakeholder engagement
  • Must be able to work independently, be a team player, and show ability to work well and accurately under pressure and time constraints
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle and other SaaS applications
  • Highest standard of ethics and integrity
