CloudHealth by VMware is looking for a Senior Director of Global Marketing to enable and develop all aspects of our Marketing team, vision and programs as we enter into a new phase of growth as the industry leader in Multi-Cloud Management. Are you a strategic and data-oriented Marketing executive with deep understanding of successful SaaS Marketing motions? Our recent acquisition by VMware has put us in a unique position to give our customers and partners access to a portfolio of cloud services that deliver a consistent and actionable view into cost and resource management, security, and performance across multiple clouds.
This highly visible role will report directly to the GM of CloudHealth while collaborating closely with all members of our Management team and the larger VMware Marketing ecosystem to execute CloudHealth’s Marketing vision.
Enable and continually develop our existing high-performing 20 person marketing team, making additional strategic hires as needed to serve our growing business.
Oversee marketing, focusing on content and programs that drive brand awareness, position the company as the leader in Multi-Cloud Management, generate leads and enable sales success.
Oversee product marketing and marketing communications functions including go-to-market strategies, market requirements, solutions packaging, customer retention/nurturing, channel marketing, messaging and positioning, events, thought leadership, social media, press and analyst relations.
Plan, manage, and execute marketing operations and oversee demand generation activities in support of the marketing organization and the company's lead-to-revenue process.
Leverage your deep understanding of SaaS Metrics to ensure departmental success and tight alignment across our Revenue Org, from customer acquisition to customer satisfaction.
Drive alignment between Marketing and Sales resulting in improved conversion rates through the demand waterfall via contributions from both marketing sourced and influenced pipeline to sales.
Partner with Business Operations team to ensure we’re continually utilizing Marketing technology infrastructure to leverage Marketing automation, predictive prospect analysis, lead scoring, persona-based sales workflows, etc.
Design and implement the strategic Marketing plan and manage the budget to align with company goals.
BS/BA or equivalent.
10+ years of experience successfully implementing and executing global marketing strategies within enterprise B2B SaaS companies, preferably within ITSM or Cloud Management.
6+ years of progressive management experience, with an emphasis on team building, leadership, and engaging with global and local stakeholders.
Strong technical background, analytic experience, and sales/customer orientation.
Experience building trusted relationships with executive sponsors and end users.
