Job Description
We are looking for a talented front-end software engineer to join our team. VMware UI team builds web-based UI components and web-client UI which provides consistent experience across all the VMware products. This UI platform includes products that deliver industry scale self-service datacenters on top a virtualized fabric for computer, storage and networking Our application enables IT managers, administrators and non-technical users to navigate and manipulate a world with large amounts of heterogeneous data. To make their experience coherent, efficient and effective requires both technical skill and imagination. This is a key role with a high profile. You will be working in a world-class team respected for its innovation and execution. We are based in Bangalore with great facilities and a very comfortable working environment. If you love shipping software that extends the technology frontier, then this is for you.

You will:
• Participate in defining the HTML 5 strategy for VMware cloud infrastructure UI
• Learn and apply new technologies, best design practices and usability patterns
• Contribute to end-to-end system architecture, working with back-end engineers
• Collaborate with UX team, product managers and other technical teams to create delightful user experience.

• Expert in modern Javascript frameworks: AngularJS, React.
• Solid CS, OOP/OOD, design patterns
• Track record in large-scale system software development

Strongly Desired:
• Strong Java & J2EE knowledge
. Visual design and CSS
• Good grasp on usability and interaction design

The following standard list of requirements for software engineering job do apply:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Masters preferred
• 3-7 years of hands-on software development experience (software products, not websites or internal projects)
• Written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to deliver on schedule
