In this role you will be a member of the Product Marketing team responsible for supporting operations and program excellence for our Workspace ONE platform--the market leading digital workspace solution.

You will have the opportunity to capture how we measure success and drive adoption with customers around our overall digital workspace holistically. You will partner with BU stakeholders and the field to drive adoption and activation amongst our customers. You will be responsible for modeling and defining our target customers and working with the field to refine and qualify these targets on a regular basis. You will be responsible for tracking results and tuning programs to ensure we are driving financial success.

This role will play an essential role in executing on a major phase of VMware’s strategy for the enterprise.

This position provides hands-on opportunities to leverage quantitative rigor and modeling to help shape marketing directions and drive and track global marketing programs. The optimal individual will have strong operational and quantitative modeling expertise, customer facing experience, strategic acumen and skills to help drive success in partnership with internal teams and executives. This role will report directly into the VP of Product Marketing.


Drive operations and track customer insights on go-to-market plans and programs and ultimately drive customer acquisition in partnership with sales teams

Leverage findings to shape GTM programs that help further BU goals.

Measure and communicate results across sales and the BU teams.

Speak and present both externally and internally to help audiences understand and align behind BU strategy and programs.

Required Skills

7-10+ years in enterprise in operations, strategy and marketing—with a stress on operations.

Exceptional analytical skills, i.e. ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries, and deliver actionable business insights.

Superb quantitative, written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Sawtooth, Oracle, Tableau, Eloqua and Salesforce tools required.

Experience with executive and field communications

A super creative mind with experience in building and executing customer programs based on derived quantitative findings

Bachelors in business (MBA a plus) – or related industry experience

Strong project & organization skills with the ability to optimally structure and prioritize work

Demonstrated ability to successfully influence critical stakeholders and to communicate the group's vision and accomplishments

Consistent record of speaking in front of large internal, external and global audiences

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with VMware tools and processes

Willing to travel up to 40%
